Ferhan and his wife are great hosts. We enjoyed a beautiful family Christmas. They decorated the house and set up the Christmas tree for us. The property is very well taken care of. Such a beautiful home, felt like you were in your own castle with fab walled garden. Bedrooms all great sizes and super comfy beds, having different rooms meant when anyone wanted a free moment there was places to retreat to. fab stay

This was the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Beautiful house, fantastic gardens, great location and super helpful host. Nice and warm, great wifi, safe and secure gardens10 min walk to station then a 14 minute train journey into the centre of Edinburgh. Lots of nice shops and restaurants locally, walks and beaches.Perfect for our pre Christmas family get together. Hoping to come back in the spring. Ferhan is een zeer vriendelijke host. Flexibel in aankomsttijd. We ontvingen een zeer uitgebreide en volledig omschrijving en instructie van het huis. Stunning home and perfect venue for my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations. The house is very clean and decorated tastefully. The beds were super comfortable. Great WiFi and all the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances. Beautiful well kept gardens. We had around 60 people come for a BBQ, catered by a private company. Everyone commented on how stunning the house & grounds are. East Lothian is beautiful and there are lots of amenities near by. Ferhan, the host was very attentive and replied very quickly on any questions we had. We would definitely book again as a venue for the next big family occasion.

Overall, this place was great. Ferhan was very responsive and helpful. Pros: beautiful house/grounds. Lots of room for all 4 couples. Location was great. Easy access into Edinburgh via train. Ferhan helped coordinate a great catered dinner our first night, was flexible with check-in, and very friendly. Cons: only one set of keys, which limited our ability to come and go. While there are 4 baths, there are only 3 showers, 1 of which is on the lowest level, (all the bedrooms are on the second level). 2 of the 5 mornings there were issues with no hot water, plus our first evening there was a huge leak from 1 of the showers which made it unusable the next morning. However, Ferhan was very responsive to correct all of this. 1 of the mattresses was so firm as to be unusable, which meant one couple had to sleep in the attached room of another. There was also a problem with blown fuses. There are LOTS of stairs.All that said, it was a lovely home and we would stay again.
